Getting started in a trucking career at Roehl
Experienced Drivers
Once we receive your application we'll send you an offer letter and you can expect a quick turn around through our comapany's orientation and getting in the truck. Typically three days.
Your first load usuallly takes you back through the house and if you deliver the load before noon on Friday and get your paperwork sent in you can expect a paycheck the next week.

Student Drivers
Congratulations on getting your CDL. Your career has just begun and our training program is tailored to your needs. After completion of our Orientation program we'll get you in a truck with one of the industries best drivers, a Roehl Certified Trainer.
Our training program is completed in phases:
- Evolution 1
- 10 - 13 days with a Roehl Certified Trainer
- Emphasis on driving skills and logging
- The Roehl Way of Protective Driving
- Pre-Trip Inspections
- Introduction to OptiStop
- Hometime 24 to 48 hours
- Evolution 2
- 10 - 13 Days with a Roehl Certified Trainer
- Communication of moving freight
- Compliance with FMCSR
- Hometime 24 to 48 hours
- Road Test at one of our terminals
- Job Skills Test
- Get in your truck

Owner Operators
Also commonly referred to as Independent Contractors, this group of drivers represents the fastest growing division at Roehl.
When you're ready to try your hand at busines ownership, we're ready to assist you in becoming an Independent Contractor (IC). Our IC's are business partners who enjoy the freedom of managing their own bsiness while continuing to benefit from our unique programs and large customer base. Our leasing program may provide you with a low cost entry into truck ownership.
